Thoughts on AMC's Preacher Series Premiere

Introduced to the Preacher comics a little while ago, and now AMC is sharing it in TV show form to the world. I'm completely drawn in by the location (Texas), the characters, and learning how they capture the notoriously violent and inappropriate comic series.

Tonight was the night I should have been finishing up final edits and submitting my screenplay to the Sun Valley Film Festival High Scribe competition. The premise of the story is an age old tale with an unexpected modern twist, but the writing right now is awful.
