F & B [food.wine.beer.spirits.]
Did I mention the food? Eating, or more aptly, dining, is the glue of my life. Also, everyone has to eat, so you may as well be eating at one of the fine culinary establishments has to offer.

Did I mention the food? Eating, or more aptly, dining, is my favorite thing to do. Also, girl's gotta eat, so I may as well be eating at one of the fine culinary establishments has to offer. We get new ones all the time. I try to check 'em all out. I can't keep up.
An evening on the town starts in River Oaks district with drinks at Steak 48, then moves to Montrose with an amazing dinner at Uchi, drinks at the newly resurrected Rosemont, and ends with cocktails at Anvil.
We venture into Rice Village for some Greek food and wine action at Helen. It's similar to a recent experience we had at Shaya in New Orleans both in food and atmosphere. Casual and delicious.
We take it to the River Oaks District twice in one weekend to try two of the hottest tickets in the food scene in Houston: Le Colonial and Steak 48.
My friends and I venture to the new Heights location of Cane Rosso on 18th and Shepherd for some vino and Neapolitan style pizza. Spoiler alert, it's delicious.
DRANKS [bars.]
I am an non-discriminatory drinker who enjoys mostly dive bars and outdoor patios. I frequently indulge in beer, cocktails, spirits, and wine. Sometimes I indulge too much, and then I end up writing about my thought, which you can probably find in NO FILTER.
Dear Person at 3rd Floor on Saturday night who walked away with that black iPhone 7 with the cracked face and camera and smiling dog on the lock screen instead of just handing it into the bar’s management...
I check out Raven Tower for the first time, and show some loyalty to my Louisiana roots by checking out the GIVERS show. It left a lot to be desired for a bunch of different reasons. Or maybe I was just upset because it was still only Tuesday.
Tacos on my mind, tacos on my mind, I want tacos all the damn time! Let's taco 'bout how it's taco'clock.
