H TOWN H [the one.&only.]
Houston, aka H TOWN, is the most diverse city in the United States. Some of us are lucky enough to live here, to enjoy the amazing culture, food, and vibrant city life with the comfort and charm of southern and Texas hospitality. We try to keep it our little secret, but I think the secret's out. My first name starts with an H. Mystery Solved.
CULTURE [art.books.events.film.music.sports.tv.]
Houston has a lot to offer culturally. Sometimes the posts are specific to the Houston culture scene. Other times, it's just me yammering away in general about the stuff I come across that I like.
F & B [food.wine.beer.spirits.]
Did I mention the food? Everyone has to eat, you may as well be eating at one of the fine culinary establishments the city has to offer. I certainly enjoy eating my way through H Town.
Tramps Abroad [travel.exploration.adventure.]
Thankfully not all who wander are lost, else I would be screwed. I like to meander along the path of life taking as many detours as possible. This involves sometimes leaving Houston, heck, sometimes leaving the inner loop.
No Filter [just.h.]
I have strong opinions about life, love, politics, philosophy, science, religion, and sometimes they must be expressed. This is the taboo topic. If you don't like what I have to say, you're welcome to disagree respectfully, or simply turn around and walk away from the computer or mobile device.
If you're looking for something low cost, informative and active to do to learn more about different areas of Houston, the AIA (American Institute of Architects) leads guided tours from September to May.
